Shaun Cerisano | Chair

    Shaun Cerisano

Shaun is the Philanthropy Manager for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, an organization that raises funds to support BC Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child & Family Research Institute.

Shaun has raised millions of dollars for non-profits all over the country, and has over 10 years of business development experience both in the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Shaun has worked for such organizations as World Wrestling Entertainment, Flight Centre, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Royal BC Museum. He also co-founded the innovative initiative, TP the Town, in Kingston Ontario, bringing it to Victoria in 2015.

Shaun is Chair of The Chamber's Prodigy Group, and was appointed to The Chamber's Board in 2016.


    Julia Livingston

Julia Livingston | Vice-Chair

Julia Livingston is currently the Marketing Coordinator at The Bay Centre where she works to develop and implement various marketing programs. Julia also works closely with community partners to execute in-centre fundraisers and other special events. Julia graduated from the Bachelor of Professional Communications Program at Royal Roads University in 2012 and has remained in Victoria ever since.

In her off time, you’ll find Julia hiking in various locations on the Island and frequenting many of Victoria’s incredible eateries.



   Ashley Finch-Field

Ashley Finch-Field | Treasurer

Ashley is currently a Chartered Accountant with Collins Barrow Victoria Ltd. She has been with the firm for over 4 years and holds a supervisory role overseeing various engagements and has a passion for numbers.

Ashley also enjoys being involved with the community, she currently serves on the finance and audit committee for the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce along with various other volunteer initiatives. Other than work and volunteering Ashley is committed to living a healthy and active lifestyle.




Jason Carter | Secretary

   Jason Carter
Jason is an Accountant and Client Relations Lead for Metrics Chartered Professional Accounting. Metrics is at the intersection of financial technology, tax and accounting and is designed to help forward thinking business owners and professionals optimize their business. Jason is in the final stages of completing his Chartered Professional Accounting Designation.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Jason spends his summers at the Carter family cabin in Shawnigan Lake, and his winters chasing the snow atop some of BC’s top ski destinations. Locally, you can often find him tucked away enjoying a craft pint and bite to eat in one of Victoria’s many hidden gems’.



Danielle Fullwood | Mingles Lead

Danielle Fullwood

Danielle Fullwood is the Philanthropy Coordinator for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Vancouver Island Team where she is responsible for organizing their annual programs and events. She helps local organizations, businesses, and individuals engage with the community while raising funds to support the most urgent needs of BC Children’s Hospital.

Danielle grew up on Vancouver Island and is very passionate about the community and all the beauty it has to offer. She likes to volunteer, take classes and workshops, stay active and cook with her family in her off time. Her positive and sociable demeanor makes her a great fit as Mingle Lead; if you see her at a Monthly Mingle make sure to say hello!




    Brianna Green

Brianna Green | Mentorship Lead

Brianna is the Communications Commander for Seriously Creative where she creates buzz and drives social channel engagement for local businesses. She graduated from the University of Victoria with her BA in English. She worked in HR for four years with Thrifty Foods developing many skills such as, communication and employee relations before moving onto the Provincial Government working for BC Caucus.

Brianna has always enjoyed giving back to the community and getting involved in many volunteer activities. She has volunteered on a variety of political campaigns to further her goal of one day running for council and possibly even provincially!



Glen Smethurst

Glen Smethurst  | Communications Lead

Glen Smethurst is the co-founder and managing director of both Van Isle Paint and Island Digital Marketing. Glen and his brother Clint founded Van Isle Paint in August 2014 with one core ideology, they’re building a company that is value-based and all about customer satisfaction. Van Isle Paint has a team of 15 full-time employees that focus on quality work at a great price.

Island Digital Marketing (IDM) was created in June 2014 in Vancouver. Glen relocated IDM to Victoria allowing him to simultaneously scale both IDM, and Van Isle Paint. IDM unifies design, development, and project management to create exceptional and elegant strategies.

Both Van Isle Paint and Island Digital Marketing are strong community partners and supporters of several local athletic, business, and health organizations.


Kevin Taylor

Kevin Taylor  | Communications Team

Kevin Taylor is the communications manager for both Van Isle Paint and Island Digital Marketing. Kevin graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Political Science. Before graduating from the University of Victoria, Kevin played his junior and NCAA Division 1 tennis in the U.S.

As a part of Van Isle Paint & Island Digital Marketing, Kevin plays an important role in supporting and giving back to local charities, athletics, and causes.




   Emily Royer

Emily Royer | Communications Team

As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Pacific Landing Emily is responsible for the oversight and success of the Sales & Marketing team. This includes setting sales targets and helping the team meet them, creating and executing marketing strategies, and the development and execution of operational processes.

Previous to making the transition to island life and real estate, Emily was the Senior Sales Manager at VICE Media in London, UK.

Lise Gyorkos is president and co-owner of Page One Publishing Inc., creator of Douglas, YAM and Salt magazines.

Lise launched Page One in 1998 with Georgina Camilleri, growing the company into one of B.C.’s largest and most successful magazine publishers.

Lise is very involved with the community as a director at the Greater Victoria Housing Society and as the 2016 chair of the Visions Gala Steering Committee. She also provides support and sponsorship to the annual Vancouver Island Economic Summit.



Stefanie Knox | Chamber Staff Liaison

   Stefanie Knox

As the Membership Manager for The Chamber, Stef works closely with our Ambassador Committee, Prodigy Group Committee and of course directly with you our members to keep you connected with everything The Chamber has to offer. 

She moved to Victoria from her previous role as the Member Programs Manager with the Toronto Region Board of Trade. At the Board of Trade, she managed member programs, including those for small businesses, young professionals and the member affinity program.



Kathy Khouri | Past Chair

  Kathy Khouri

Kathy currently works for the University of Victoria as a Co-op & Career Assistant in the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business. She also spent many years working in Victoria's not-for-profit industry. Kathy graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Child and Youth Care and she also has a Certificate in Leadership Development from Camosun College.

Kathy is Past Chair of The Chamber’s Prodigy Group and is passionate about leadership, especially among emerging professionals in Victoria. Kathy is also part of a women’s group that meets monthly to discuss pertinent issues facing women in leadership today.
