Working with the Accenture team is always a treat for JA British Columbia! When it comes to interactive workshops, thought-provoking ideation, and putting people at the centre of design and development, Accenture makes an impact. They not only excel in their client work, but also in leading community-based workshops. One such initiative is Accenture's PACE workshop, where JA Company Program students were introduced to a simple yet effective problem-solving and prototyping approach. Through their unique game-based lessons, real-life examples, and collaborative discussions, students got the opportunity to create products and services that resonate with an audience's needs. We can't wait for another fun day! Our JA Company Program students had the pleasure of participating in this dynamic workshop led by Alan Hadle Hamilton, Animesh Vyas, Catherine Errington, Clara Serra, Winky Cai, Shivani Sharma, and Yen Ching Tan at the Accenture Vancouver Office. #JABC #BoundlessPossiblities #JACompanyProgram

This March, we wrapped up an exciting pilot initiative: the JA Company Program for Indigenous Learners. This experience was made possible by our supporter Peter Brown. Peter, we are immensely grateful. Delivered virtually over nine weeks, this program guided 29 learners through the journey from business ideation to execution, equipping them with indispensable skills to embark on their entrepreneurial ventures—ranging from a food truck to a life coach. A special thanks to Kimberly (Kallappa) Sommer, our Program Director of Indigenous Communities, for her personalized support and continuous communication. Her efforts ensured learners had the resources needed, boosting their confidence and program completion as they developed their start-up ventures! This after-school entrepreneurship endeavor exemplifies JABC's commitment to inclusive education and empowerment within Indigenous communities. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gq4yjMjM.
