Arbutus Farms Kitchen needed a new website to showcase their products for both wholesalers and consumers. Caorda created a new WordPress website, using special, custom posts to help make managing product listings easier for their team. With fields customized exactly for their needs, their team is able to easily navigate the website admin to update their frequently changing selection of fantastic products. In addition, Caorda worked with Arbutus Farms Kitchen to develop a new section of the site to feature their excellent recipes. Caorda’s designer, Hilary, created a second custom post style to ensure recipes are shown to their best advantage in a consistent layout, making them easy to follow for website visitors. Caorda also worked to clean up some loose ends and broken links from the old site, resolving 404 errors and implementing a logical permalink structure. Arbutus Farms Kitchen is already busy on the site, adding lots of new products and managing things with ease. Caorda is so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with Arbutus Farms Kitchen and looks forward to a long relationship – we can’t wait to see how the new website helps them grow! Here's another huge congratulations to Country Grocer who recently expanded into four more locations on Vancouver Island, absorbing 49th Parallel Grocery into their locally owned and community-focused family of grocery stores. Kudos! 🎉

On May 30, Caorda had the honour of helping to serve lunch to some of Victoria's most vulnerable people in the community at the Our Place Society outreach centre in downtown Victoria. We sent six Caordians downtown and split into servers and bussers. We helped serve up a meal of rice, stewed meatballs, vegan meatballs, or fallafel, and oranges to upwards of 150-200 people. It felt good to volunteer our time and sponsor a lunch during Tech Week. A very big thank you to Melissa and all of the staff for making us feel welcome and appreciated. #ourplacesociety
