Meet Shaun Cerisano, our new Director of Development and his dog, Hulk. Beacon welcomes Shaun from the BC Children’s Hospital where he worked as the Associate Director of Provincial Engagement for BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Shaun brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team and will be building Beacon’s fundraising department from the ground up! He is creating a program where donor dollars stay 100% local. How phenomenal. He's also a proud basketball coach for a U13 team on the Saanich Peninsula affectionately called the "Ballers." He loves spending time coaching because he gets to teach kids life lessons that help them become strong young adults. When he’s not working or coaching, you can find him on a nearby trail, beach or in a park throwing a ball for Hulk. We are emerging as a bigger, brighter Beacon in 2024, -ready and able to support our community in more ways than ever before. We’re so grateful for Shaun, and excited for this new fundraising initiative which will help to further our community programs and services.
